Communications as a Service (CaaS)
Communications as a Service (CaaS) are outsourced business communications solutions that can be rented from a single provider. These communications may include voice over IP (VoIP or Internet telephony), instant messaging (IM) applications, collaboration and video conferencing using fixed and mobile devices.
At ETI as a CaaS provider, we are a reference in the survey, diagnosis, projection and commissioning of IP telephony systems. As we are authorized distributors of the Datys IPPBX solution, we guarantee the installation of said solution compatible with the governing bodies in our country.
We provide two software solutions based on web technology to deploy a telephone directory and a telephone billing system.
Services offered
Leasing of IP extensions:
Lease extensions of the CaaS platform to entities that, due to the number of clients and/or the non-availability of facilities by ETECSA, need telephone communications both to the public network and to BioCubaFarma via the data network. This service comes with the caller ID in addition to the corresponding landline number.
Leasing of Entry and Exit Trucks:
Guarantee the connection with the CaaS platform and thus enable entry and exit with the ETECSA public network. In this service, 2 blackboard numbers are associated, connected to 2 telephone exchanges, which guarantees the high availability of the service. In addition, it is accompanied by a personalized welcome message, all as part of the added value.
Access to the BioCubaFarma VoIP Project:
Based on a Dial-Plan or numbering assigned by the provider (ETI), the client may call or be called from or to the centers that belong to this project. This communication is carried out through the BioCubaFarma data network, so establishing calls between these centers is completely free.
Access to the BioCubaFarma Telephone Directory:
Access and daily updating to the telephone directory is guaranteed, where the contact numbers of the different entities will appear with the main data such as the name of the Entity, board number, prefix, as well as the list of its extensions.
Data Save:
Daily backup of customer whiteboard configuration data is guaranteed. Which, in the event of a disaster, recovery would be carried out in the shortest time possible. If the board is hosted in the ETI data center, the added bonus of saving the virtual machine in its entirety is added.
Billing of telephone consumption:
On the first day of each month, outgoing traffic generated by the client is charged. Various data appear in this report, such as the name of the entity, the monthly fixed fee applied for the contracted services, as well as detailed call data, with the origin, destination and time of the call. Allowing decision making based on this data.
Access to international calls:
Access and quality to international output is guaranteed, which can be contracted globally for the entire entity or on a specific basis for a specific user.
